Heavy metal detoxification
An intravenous treatment that uses a prescribed binding agent — a substance that attaches to certain metals in the body, such as lead, mercury, arsenic and aluminium, so they can be passed out naturally. It’s given through a drip over a session.
Heavy metals can accumulate in the body gradually through repeated exposure over time. Potential sources include contaminated food or water, environmental pollution, certain workplaces and industries, and some everyday products.
This is a specialised treatment that requires a consultation prior.
Binding, then filtering out.
Once administered, the binding agent circulates through the bloodstream and attaches to metals it can bind, forming stable complexes. These are then filtered by the kidneys and removed from the body through urine.
It is an established medical treatment for certain cases of heavy metal poisoning. Its primary purpose is to reduce the body’s burden of specific metals when medically indicated. It has also been studied in other areas, and evidence for those broader applications is still evolving.
